Please note that FlexScreen cannot be used with all window types. Please read the following information carefully.
Where exactly is FlexScreen installed?
No tools or aids are required to install FlexScreen. Thanks to its flexible frame, this fly screen can be used with your bare hands. FlexScreen is clamped into the window frame by pushing the flexible frame together. The clip-on spacers provide additional hold, if necessary.

For which window type is FlexScreen suitable?

Offset PVC-U windows
FlexScreen fits into offset PVC windows with the following specification/geometry without an adapter profile.
FlexScreen is perfect for the very common PVC turn/tilt windows. The window remains fully operational without having to remove the insect screen.
Windows with a center seal
FlexScreen is generally suitable for windows with a center seal. However, there are a few points to keep in mind. For windows with a center seal, the FlexScreen is installed between the center seal and the window frame. To ensure that the FlexScreen frame can be installed correctly, there should be a gap of at least 10 mm all around between the center seal and the window frame.

For which window types is FlexScreen not yet suitable?
Flush windows
The FlexScreen system is not suitable for flush windows. FlexScreen is installed between the window frame and the window sash. In the case of flush windows, there is not enough space leading to the possibility that the insect screen mesh is damaged when the window is closed and the window does not close properly.

Wooden windows
Both modern and older wooden windows are not compatible with the FlexScreen-system. These windows are usually designed in such a way that the distance between the window frame and the window sash is very small - which is why the insect screen system usually does not have enough space in this type of window.

Aluminum windows
Similar to flush windows, this window system usually does not offer enough space for a FlexScreen. In addition, aluminum windows often have a special sealing system and sharp-edged corners, which can lead to the mesh being damaged or torn.

Windows with a weather profile
Windows fitted with a weather profile are not suitable for the FlexScreen-system. Even with offset PVC windows, the protruding weather profile on the frame causes the mesh to tear when the window is closed.

Window frames with an additional center seal
Window frames with a center seal must have a minimum clearance of 10 mm between the seal and the window frame itself, as this space is required for the FlexScreen frame. This space is also crucial for using the clip-on spacers, as otherwise they may not fit correctly.
